Since morning I was searching for a reason that had disturbed my last night dreams.I was so upset.After observing my surrounding while having lunch, I came to know the reason.Though all the views are personal,i will replace myself with "We" to personally declare that i am a good citizen..:-)
IT Industry has nowadays become a dream of every tech individual.I just want to ask one thing to each individual:"Are you really enjoying working?""Have you reached to your dream?"and last but not least "How much are you contributing to the country?"I have made it very easy to give you feel about my next paragraphs.Lets go ahead.
Each IT professional likes to work in MNCs.No doubt about it.Infrastructure,big building,attracting cafeteria is enough for a person to work such an ambience. I have very close friend,he is software engineer in MNC and spends about 12 hours at the office.I was surprised that he is being driven by the company.He has lost his identitiy. When one project gets over another turns up.He has to wait for minutes to think while filling "Date of Birth" column in any application form but he never misses to remember project deadlines.One day i somehow manage to ask about his routine,his answer shocked me."Money matters..all this is for money".
There is money in it but no time to use it. Again a software engineer in the parent company in US works lesser hours for a bigger pay packet. I am always irritable at home and my grandmother has to face my wrath. Poor woman, she gets up at midnight to warm the food and rarely sees me during the day," he confessed.
We are ready to adopt European,American culture except their way of working.We are missing our life.Just look at your counterpart in US,he comes around 9 and left for the day by at most 6pm.Infact i have increasedthe statistics,which is supposed to be very less than mentioned.They have clear difference between their personal and professional life.While we feel pride not to take an initiative to make dichotomy.Evening time in weekdays is like solar eclipse or like any heavenly event which occurs rarely.
I really scared to think about married people who are in this profession.How they manage to go back to homevery late,with laptop:-( ? Once again i like to accentuate on my fourth line of this blog.
I have wrath about these MNCs.They are making money simply "Using" us.Long working hours,high intelligence just worth of few ruppees.All our work going to boom the foreign economy.We are doing nothing to our nation..Just think USD 3000$ is an average salary per annum in India while outside it is $4000 USD per month.
After so much of effort,we are getting nothing...no contribution to the nation..no personal life..just lost in the mist of work.
Let each of us think of an entrepreneurship.We are having best brains,best attitude,best life style,best culture..Time has come to take an initiative.One entrepreneur results thousands of domestic employments..reasonable working hours...thereby contributing to the domestic economy..Just think that this one step is enough for burgeoning "Domestic" economy..
